Minimal School Pride

It's troubling click here to see how many students these days have absolutely zero school pride. They don't feel about their institute, they don't participate in events, and they just seem uninterested. It's like they've forgotten what it means to be part of a team and support their fellow students. This lack of spirit is detrimental to the entire school environment.

Man, this cap just won't cooperate! I'm struggling to adjust it, but it still feels awkward. Maybe my head is too big. I guess it goes to show you that sometimes match your needs.

My School Is Different

When I read the words "alma mater|my old school|the place where I learned}", it doesn't bring back feelings of warmth and nostalgia. For me, it's a vague concept. Maybe because my experience there were not like others, or perhaps I simply haven't had the time to look back. Whatever the reason, that phrase doesn't have the same weight for me as it does for others.

It's not that I haven't appreciated my time at school. It was a time of learning, just not one that feels familiar in the way many people describe.

Perhaps it's because I found my passions away from the traditional school setting. Or maybe it's because my memories are more focused on specific experiences. Whatever the case, "Not My Alma Mater|My School Is Different|This Isn't My Old School", and that's perfectly okay.

I Am Bleeding Blue

The realm doesn't understand that I bleed a different color. They stare with disgust as I show the reality of my nature. My blood is a symbol of {somethingunique that they can't perceive. They classify me as other, but I am simply unique.

Spirit Week? Sounds Like Work

Seriously, school/the whole idea of/that thing they call "school spirit/spirit week/pep rallies" is about as appealing/relevant/interesting to me as a moldy sandwich/root canal/trip to the dentist. I'd rather be practicing my guitar/reading a good book/taking a nap than wearing school swag and participating in lame competitions. I value knowledge, not glorified cheering.

  • My teachers/My friends/Even my family all think I'm weird/missing out/crazy, but whatever. Their spirit fingers are weak.
  • One day, I might understand

My Eyes Are On The Prize (Snacks)

Let's be real, sometimes gathering/ chilling/hanging out with people/ friends/squad is all about the spread/ feast/ bounty! I mean, who can resist a good platter/ selection/ assortment of tasty treats/ goodies/ munchies? It's like a buffet/ an oasis/ the promised land of deliciousness/ yumminess/ pure snacking heaven. Give me pizza rolls any day! I totally prioritize/live for/am here for those snacks/ goodies/ bites that make a gathering/ hangout/ party truly unforgettable.
